Curiously static time travel yarn with a lull in the middle allowing a little too much time to consider the paradoxes but an ending good enough that they don't really matter.

I've seen pictures of Bruce Willis when he Joseph Gordon Levitt's age. He didn't look like Joseph Gordon Levitt.

ReplyDeleteBloody hell, I REALLY enjoyed that. Characters, performances, plot, world building all done with intelligence and verve. And Levitt does manage to convince as a young Bruce Willis through the power of squint
ReplyDeleteNot bad at all. Pisses on the almost-time-travel of Cloud Atlas from a massive height! It does take a lot of cues from Terminator though - I think the director might have seen that a few times...
