Hideous daytime soap-opera rendition of Barker's original. The only real upside to this lukewarm bucket of toss is that it's the last one. Well, presently it's the last one, i'm sure some wanker will eventually change that.

ReplyDeleteI'd never expect sympathy. In my defence I watched this one because it's the first since part 4 that has been written as an original Hellraiser story rather than another script with Pinhead shoehorned in at the last minute. Unfortunately it's not an original story, more a blatantly incompetent steal from the original novella. It's not the worst (that's still pt. 7, Deader) but only because of how much I laughed at it. The guy playing Pinhead is fucking hilarious.
