Apart from a bit that confused me when the Life Of Pi chap turned up and started wittering on about his tiger again, I spent the rest of the time trying to decide if this rendition was better than Raimi's.
I reckon so.

Not bad at all - just unnecessary. Maybe not as good as Raimi's second though. I'm a sucker for dr octopus. Not as much as I am for Emma stone's thighs though.
ReplyDeleteOverall better than raimi 1, but not raimi 2. Garfield is a much better peter than Maguire. It just suffered a bit because I've already seen most of it before. Like raimi though everything is set up for a better sequel.
ReplyDeleteStandard Marvel fare. Slick, well made but ultimately too long and lacking the charm of either of Raimi's first two films. Won't live long in the memory I don't think.
